A complete application consists of two steps -
Step 1:
Fill out the online registration site (submit your $50 application fee at the end of the registration process).
Step 2:
Email audition recording consisting of two contrasting pieces/etudes to liftclarinetacademy@gmail.com.
*Recordings can be files or links to recordings shared via Google, Dropbox, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.
Acceptance:
Registrants will be notified by email once they have submitted a complete application. Following receipt of complete application, faculty will review and evaluate audition recordings.
NOTE: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we require proof of vaccination at least two weeks (by May 29) before the start of the academy (a photo sent by email). Additionally, all participants will be required to adhere to the current on-campus Covid-19 requirements and expectations as set out by Colorado State University. These may include special accommodations and the mandate of wearing masks. The most up-to-date information will be provided to all participants prior to travel.

$1199 - for complete application received by April 15
$1349 - for complete application received by May 15
Academy tuition covers curriculum, room & board (double occupancy with roommate), all meals, and transportation to social outings. For a single occupancy room, add $150 to the tuition amount.
Students who do not require accommodations while participating at the Lift Clarinet Academy receive a special discounted tuition rate of $600 for registration by April 15 and $700 afterwards until May 15. Tuition includes curriculum, daily lunch, and transportation to social outings.

Scholarship Information
The Lift Clarinet Academy remains one of the best value summer programs in the United States. In addition to tuition fees that are among the most competitive in the country, we offer a limited number (3) of location and talent-based scholarships:
1 - Location-based scholarship (available only to Canadian residents) covering 50% of tuition
1 - Talent-based scholarship (available to all applicants) which covers 50% of tuition
1 - Talent-based scholarship (available to all applicants) which covers 25% of tuition
All applicants are automatically considered for our scholarships. Applicants will be notified at the time of their acceptance if they have received one of our scholarships.
Special Promotion
When two people from the same studio or if two friends attend, each will receive $50 off tuition.
Payment Deadlines
For applications received by the April 15 early bird deadline, and following notification of acceptance into the academy, the final payment deadline is April 22, 2022.
For applications received by the May 15 final application deadline, and following notification of acceptance into the academy, the final payment deadline is May 23, 2022.
Methods of payment accepted include credit or debit card.
